It has happened to the best of us. You either meet a woman or know a woman and you just can’t figure out whether she is just being nice and friendly, or whether she is interested in you romantically.
It is a tough one to figure out but there are five big ways to gauge whether her interest is platonic or something more.
1. She touches you. If she reaches out and touches any part of your body, chances are she wants to be more than friends. Most girls are cautious about touching men they are not interested in. I would say it is a pretty good sign, but not a for sure one, if she touches your arm. If she touches your leg, hair, or face, then that, in my book, is a definite sign of interest.
2. She touches herself. If she is playing with her hair, caressing her arms, playing with her lips, then watch out she’s on the prowl for you. If she is smoothing her skirt or fixing her sweater – that is a little more ambiguous so keep watching. Learn these body language signals and learn a bit more about the art of being a pick up artist.
3. She has her knees and feet pointing toward you. If she is sitting on a bar stool and her body is facing you and her knees and feet are both toward you, you are probably someone she is interested in. Conversely, if her feet, knees, and body are pointing away from you and toward the door, then she really doesn’t want to be around you or in that conversation right then. I’d bail out right then and think about whether it’s worth trying again later.
4. She laughs at all your jokes. Really, if she doesn’t like you, chances are she’s not going to give you the pleasure of laughing at your jokes. If she laughs just a little, she may not like you but may be trying to be polite and give you a courtesy laugh. If she laughs hard, she likes you and is enjoying your company so stick around.
5. She makes big eye contact. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. If she doesn’t like you, she will avoid eye contact for sure. Get out while you still have your dignity. If she is interested, she will give you long gazes and they might even be smoldering and uncomfortable. Eye contact is a huge indicator of interest and one way women really flirt with men.
There are a few more signs that a woman is a flirting with you, but if you keep these five in mind, you are off to a good start. The next subject you should study up on is How to Text a Girl. You will be able to make a judgment call as to whether she is interested in you or is just being polite and friendly. Some of these signs, such as her feet pointing away, might be temporary. She might have to go to the bathroom and want to interrupt you to leave but feels that she can’t. Not all of these are set in stone, so look for the other signs as well before you give up or go in for your move.
