To get the best quality available today, you will have to spend a little more money, but they will pay for themselves within a couple of years. They make a needle that is no longer made from PVC, but of something called PE plastic. They are called true needles, and they are the closest you can get to the real deal.
They really are the best of both worlds. On one hand you have realistic Christmas trees that will be the center of attention, and on the other hand you do not have to worry about taking care of it and cleaning up after it.
It is amazing when you look at the designs that have come along since the humble beginnings. On the small side, table top artificial trees are very popular because they can go anywhere in the home. Buying them pre lit makes them a snap to put up.
Another innovation to realistic Christmas trees is fiber optic lighting. Tiny wires are used to make the needles have the appearance of lighting up. Another interesting point to make with the fiber optic lighting is that they have the ability to change colors, making them a breathtaking spectacle.
