Thus, he built another factory named Tabacalera Cubana in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Opening a company in Nicaragua was the only other reasonable location given the relationship he holds with the country in that all the tobaccos he uses come directly from them. In fact, Don Pepin will only use Nicaraguan tobacco grown from Cuban seeds in order to produce the most authentic Cuban taste possible without actually using Cuban tobacco. Therefore, after experiencing the Don Pepin El Rey de los Habanos, it would be easy for an uninformed smoker to find themselves thinking they had a Cuban on their hands.
When first taking notice of the Don Pepin El Rey de los Habanos, one will notice the beautiful Corojo Rosado wrapper. Upon further examination, it is easy to see what the fuss is all about in regards to Don Pepin’s work because the cigar is immaculately constructed and one would have to seriously study the stick to find even the slightest hint of imperfection. These cigars definitely exhibit craftsmanship at its finest.
Once setting fire to the foot of these Don Pepin El Rey de los Habanos, copious amounts of creamy smoke are complimented by a warm cedar flavor that begins to flow and satisfy the enthusiasts. Quickly after, notes of nut make their presence known and remain in perfect harmony throughout the smoke. In addition, the burn is perfect and the ash holds strong. Although this cigar is a one dimensional smoke, it is not lacking depth because the flavors and aromas are wonderful from the beginning.
