• Q type. Q type metal buildings are characterized by its lack of straight walls. It is generally a large semicircle. It is best used as garage for single vehicles or boats. It is also ideally used as storage and warehouse.

• S type. Metal buildings of this type have straight walls that are perpendicular to each other. However, the roof is semicircular in shape. S type metal buildings are good for areas without heavy snowfall. It is also ideal garages for larger vehicles.

• P type. Similar to S type, it has straight and perpendicular walls but it has a roof that takes a triangularly rounded arch. Because of the roof shape, this is best for areas that receive moderate snowfall.

How are metal buildings installed?

Installing and assembling metal buildings is fairly easy. Some people can even do it by themselves with the help of even inexperienced friends and relatives because of do it yourself procedures and guides. Basically, prefabricated metal building kits are widely available in the market. Parts, accessories and fittings will be shipped, together with a detailed manual. Moreover, there are contractors that offer their services and they can build up the kit faster than you expect.

The common pros and cons of metal buildings
Indeed, metal buildings offer a lot of advantages and benefits. Generally, it is cheaper than when you opt to construct a concrete building. It is also sturdy and durable, and it can stand almost any kind of weather. Maintenance is also not an issue.

However, metal buildings may rust easily. Moreover, those that are cheaper may have uneven and unpolished edges that may cause injury.
