Tyvek coveralls are well known for their safety and affordability. Jobs in refineries, oil mills, various factories and laboratories do not only tend to be demanding but also tend to be surrounded by various substances which oftentimes may be considered to be health risks. Tyvek offers disposable coveralls which can be used in these situations which call for safety, comfort and work convenience. Tyvek is used as a protective material not only in coveralls but also in other garments like aprons and shoe covers.

The most appropriate situations in which Tyvek coveralls should be used include activities where not only do you need to keep your clothes clean, but also when you need protection from non hazardous particles. Workers in automotive companies as well as food processing facilities can certainly use Tyvek in combination with other important protective gear, like googles, masks and gloves.

Tyvek suits from Dupont come at an affordable price, with white coverall prices ranging mostly from five to six dollars. Although most people purchase the suits by the pair, even more savings could be made by purchasing them in cases because discounts can be availed. It is important to know your preferences in choosing suits as they differ in styles. Some coveralls include covers for boots and have hoods attached to them, while others have collared necks. Others still, have elastic wrists and ankles, while others also have elastics on the face.

A really affordable coverall from DuPont is the ProShiled NecGen Series that costs only $3.26. It has a collared neck and a front zipper, and is guaranteed to protect you from various non toxic hazards. Its fabric is basically aerosol and liquid proof, which makes it a good choice for may industrial workers.

You might have noticed that most disposable coveralls are white, but if you work with a lot of dirt and grime, you may want to choose a darker color like blue, which is readily available from different makes, just like Kimberly Clark, which also has yellow disposable suits. Colored coveralls are usually slightly more expensive than plain white ones, and although these coveralls are disposable, you may choose to use them more the once since they are machine washable and they dry easily.

Now four dollars or less is not at all bad when it comes to coverall price, but if you are really on a tight budget, you can get daily coveralls for as low as $1.50. PolyPro coveralls are really economical, with those by Radnor already offering an attached hood and boots cover for only $1.32. This type of coverall is perfect for minor environmental cleanups and activities that require minimal protection against hazards. Keep in mind though that coveralls like these do not offer significant protection against flames or huge liquid splashes, although they feel comfortable and are also lightweight.

Tyvek or no Tyvek, the best way to get the most out of your coverall is to get one that matches both your needs and your budget. Buying coveralls in bulk can give you a lot of discounts but before doing so, it is best to test one in actual use so you could make a better decision for yourself before you buy more.
